THURTEE FIVE TYLER J. MIRE I thought being young was refreshing, but I ain't even on your list And why are your picks so off my radar? Please tell him to leave me alone I thought being old was depressing, ‘cause he ain’t even a good kiss And why are your picks so off my radar? Please tell him to leave me alone If you did start a fight with me Please don’t try ‘cause I’m 35, I’m 35 If you did want to make things right Please don’t try ‘cause I’m 35, I’m 35, I’m 35, I’m 35 You thought playing smart would impress me 'Cause if you did I'd let you know And why are your picks so off my radar? Please tell him to leave me alone You thought playing dumb would upset me ‘Cause if you did I’d blow you off And why are your picks so off my radar? Please tell him to leave me alone If you did start a fight with me Please don’t try ‘cause I’m 35, I’m 35 If you did want to make things right Please don’t try ‘cause I’m 35, I’m 35, I’m 35, I’m 35

APRIL MATTHEW LEE HILL Until you came along I'd been a little vague my window clouded by the fog machine I've never seen true love so nicely codified I know you take me back to a place I haven't seen When we first met we said "I don't know what I want" both afraid to dance that grim ballet if you're still looking for a vision or a sign, I've got a picture that'll make you wanna stay Imagine all her loose associations The warm and hazy memories of youth This sunlight will be mine and it could be yours as well Her laughter ringing out as clear as a bell April, April, Funny that we've never met, She hasn't been invented yet, as far as I know, April, April, stormy little cloud of mine, destinies are intertwined, wait and see After all this time we've spent without a care I find myself desiring something more I know it's easy to pretend that I'm alright to tell the truth I'm just as bad off as before I'm lazing and I’m rotting before a glowing screen a product of the information age My debilitating tendency to pry makes me a victim of the dreadful chronophage Running as if on a treadmill, haunted by the beast, I can sense the awful milestone coming fast But I can see her at the end of the hall I hope to goodness I'll be right after all April, April, she's the one who makes me dance and love with such significance, the spring in my walk April, April, stormy little cloud of mine, destinies are intertwined, wait and see Since you've up and gone I've been a little down wondering just how she'll come to be The mess inside my room is growing all the time the clothes all piling up but it seems all right to me I feel like saying that I don't know what I want but the image is abundantly clear I can almost hear a voice that tells me to proceed but I know it’s not the specter's job to interfere I wonder if the shadow of my opus made you wander off amidst the wolves I've got to rectify my place as a man creation is my duty so I'll do what I can April, April, never known her company, but she blows away the misery, all the same April, April, Stormy little cloud of mine, destinies are intertwined, wait and see April, April, funny that we've never met, she hasn't been invented yet, as far as I know April, April, Stormy little cloud of mine, destinies are intertwined, wait and see

MS. FIRE TYLER J. MIRE I saw you there Looking’ away What were you thinkin? What did you want me to say? You know I’m not so good with words My mind is blown Nothin’ to speak Feelin’ your presence It makes my body go weak You know I can’t go through with this You never called my name and dried your eyes You wondered if I’d just walk by But Ms. you know I care for you You can’t just leave me here Inside my head Around my brain Electrons are sparking Causin’ me great deals of pain Your name is just too much for me You should have told me that you needed to Spend some time alone and then you’d Find your way without my help Leavin’ me behind If you were here Locked in my stare I’d never give in Never let you out my lair You’d think I was a bit too harsh You never looked at me and said goodbye I wondered if you’d change your mind But it’s too late to turn the clock I’ll be waiting here for you But if you don’t see my point Then maybe I have gone and lost you And if you want to see my face You know I want to see yours too So who knows what the future Holds for us and these seeds we’ve planted I just hope that our love was not a Fraud a blind Ms. Fire

The Sweatervescence has something to say… and they say it with a horn section.

In their debut release, Common Threads, The Sweatervescence tips a hat to artists like Chicago, Earth, Wind & Fire and Jamiroquai. Formed in 2009 under the pen of Tyler Mire and Matt Hill, this group sought to add jazz harmony and texture to a pop format. Playing shows in one of the best towns known for live music, Denton, TX, developed The Sweatervescence a sizable fan base. Downbeat Magazine became hip to the 'Vescence as well, finding a winner for their 2011 award for “Best Blues/Pop/Rock Group.”
